Live now: changes to your Benefit and Budgeting Calculator
Benefit advice for European Economic Area (EEA) migrants

You can now provide benefit advice for EEA migrants via new functionality we've built into the calculator. We use the main descriptors for the Habitual Residency Test to decide whether there is eligibility to benefits. The relevant input fields can be found at the bottom of the Household Details tab.
We appreciated that advice about benefits and immigration status requires specialist knowledge, so your Benefit and Budgeting Calculator now also includes enhanced warnings for users to seek appropriate advice.
Benefit advice on the new Surplus Earnings rule

You can help customers who may be affected by the new surplus earnings rules using the new built in advice. The advice provides information on the threshold at which the household will be affected, together with advice on whether to continue to claim Universal Credit or not.
Export management reports into MS Excel

If you're an administrator you can now download usage reports in MS Excel or PDF formats for easy review and printing. Simply select your preferred format from My Cases / Download usage report / Report format.
We run free introductory training webinars for all our customers. Scheduled every few weeks and lasting 45 minutes, the online sessions go through the main features of the Benefit and Budgeting Calculator. Perfect for introducing new users or refreshing existing users.

Our next online training session is Wednesday 25 April (tomorrow) at 10:00 - 11:00. Click button to join.
